Shipping & Returns

Please allow 3–5 business days for handcrafting, followed by an estimated 7–12 business days for delivery to the United States. Shipping is free on all US orders.

If your pouch arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery with your order number and clear photos. We’ll help resolve the issue and cover reasonable return shipping costs for confirmed quality problems. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted.

Product Care

Gently wipe the leather with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking, direct heat, and prolonged sunlight. If it gets wet, blot away moisture and let it dry naturally.

Avoid overfilling the pouch or forcing the snap closed, so it retains its molded shape. Natural variations in texture and tone make each piece slightly different.

Style Inspiration

Wear it on its leather cord over a simple shirt or knit, or keep it inside your everyday bag as a compact card holder.

Black and brown pair easily with everyday outfits. Wine red, blue, green, and warm orange add a small touch of color. The curved flap and leather-covered snap give its simple rectangular shape a distinctive finish.

The little details caught my eye

The curved flap is what caught my eye. I like how the covered button keeps the front looking simple, while the leather still has a little shine.

Simple from every angle

I like the clean shape, especially the smooth back and rounded corners. It’s a small detail, but that simple finish is exactly my style.

A quiet detail with colorful accessories

Black works so well with colorful accessories. This little pouch adds a quieter detail without making the whole look feel too busy.

My everyday cards, all together

I like having my everyday cards together in one small pouch. With the flap open, I can see the cards inside at a glance.

A warm, slightly vintage feel

The brown shade is my favorite part. The lighter leather inside and the curved flap give it a warm, slightly vintage look.

handmade step of LeatherBag: 6 Main Production Steps

Leather Preparation
Before a piece is shaped, we inspect the leather’s surface and measure its thickness. We then carefully skive the areas that need to be thinner, preparing them for curves, folds, and assembly. Small differences in thickness can make a noticeable difference to a compact leather piece. Excess thickness at a fold or join can add bulk and interrupt the shape. This preparation helps those areas bend and sit more neatly, while preserving the thickness needed elsewhere for the intended form. These early adjustments lay the groundwork for the clean curves and neat joins of the finished piece.

Soaking and Cutting
We soak the prepared leather in water to make it more pliable, then trim it to the outline needed for the design. The cut leaves room for the leather to follow the mold and take on depth during shaping. Softened leather is easier to work around curves, allowing a flat piece to gradually settle into a rounded form. The outline is cut with this transformation in mind, allowing for the depth of the finished piece and the edges that will be trimmed and finished later. Before molding begins, both the flexibility of the leather and the shape of the cut need to be ready.

Wet Molding and Shape Setting
We shape the damp leather over a mold by hand, working it gradually around the curves and into the contours of the design. Pins hold the surrounding edges in place, helping the leather stay close to the mold while its form sets. This is where a flat piece gains its depth and silhouette. Small adjustments matter: the way the leather sits around a curve affects how smoothly that curve appears in the finished piece. Using shaping tools, we work along these transitions and refine the surface as the form develops. Those gradual movements create the rounded body and flowing lines that define the finished piece.

Precision Trimming
Once the molded shape is established, we use a template to mark the final outline. The pins are removed, and the excess leather is carefully trimmed away. We then refine the flap, closure tab, and surrounding edges, following the lines of the design. These cuts shape the details you see and handle every day. The curve of a flap, the shape of a closure tab, and the line around an opening all influence how the finished piece looks and works. Careful trimming brings those elements into proportion, giving the molded body a clean outline and preparing its edges for the finishing work that follows.

Assembly and Edge Finishing
With the leather shaped and trimmed, we align the sections and press them together along the joining edges. Excess material is carefully cut away, then the edges are smoothed to create an even line around the piece. The way these sections meet affects both the silhouette and the feel of the finished leatherwork. A small unevenness at a join can interrupt a smooth curve, so we pay close attention to these transitions. We refine the edges where layers come together, helping them sit neatly and feel smoother to the touch. This gives the assembled piece a cleaner outline and a more comfortable finish in the hand.

Hand Coloring and Polishing
We apply color to the leather by hand with a brush, working across the shaped surface and around its curves. The piece is then guided against a cloth polishing wheel to buff the surface and bring out its shine. These finishing steps give the leather its final color and sheen. As light moves across the surface, the curves catch it differently from the flatter areas, revealing the depth of the molded shape. We turn the piece in our hands to reach its contours and refine the finish. The resulting rich tone and smooth sheen highlight the curved lines, bringing the form developed through the earlier stages into clearer view.

A Different Way to Craft Leather

At induquo, our story begins in a small leathercraft studio, where every piece starts with a simple idea and a carefully selected piece of leather.

Some of our products are cut and stitched by hand, while others are shaped using leather molding techniques to create smooth curves and distinctive forms. We work primarily with top-grain cowhide, reserving premium leathers such as shell cordovan for selected designs.

From the first cut to the final finishing touches, we believe that the little details make all the difference. Our aim is to create leather goods that feel personal, serve a purpose, and become a natural part of your everyday life.
